This was an extreme journey: I had to visit Germany to sort out some important things. I was only 36hrs away – but it was nice: I saw my family and enjoyed the snowy landscape :) Yes, I love snow – it is this white stuff, which looks so wonderful and makes everything so calm and beautiful.

Hi there! Yes, Allyson and Steve are married now (background info: Dani and I live with Allyson in a shared house in Cambridge).

But let’s start at Saturday 5.00am (!!!). Yes, at that time we got up … because we had to be close to York at around 10am. Another amazing thing: first time in Britain I drove with with a car, a British car :) Well, it was sort of fun, and everything was fine, but it is very difficult at the beginning. Almost everything is on the wrong (?!) side, smile! Henning and his wife, Dani & me arrived at the hotel @10am. Well, it was sort of early, as we figured out that the actual ceremony is at 11.30 – so we had some tee and some nice chats.

Finally, Ally & Steve got married! Congratulations! You are a very nice couple :) All the best for your future!

After the ceremony we all expected nothing very special, but there was something coming … a trip with a steam train. Wow – it was great! The steam engine itself was quite impressive and the excellent food at 1st class lunch was also brilliant! Steve and Allyson enjoyed themselves and everybody else was happy too: Train, Helium-Balloons, Food, Fun & more… thanks!

Then, back at the hotel, we had a 3hrs break. It was goooood, so we had a lie-down and got up really relaxed at 6pm for the dinner & the party. It was a funny nice evening – check out the pictures and you’ll figure it out …
